Summary
Corsair without lamp store? That has something! The new AF 120 Elite are fans with a very targeted airflow and high static pressure, which makes the fan interesting in two ways. First, it manages to push the airflow well bundled longitudinally through the entire case and second, it does not shy away from thick 60 mm radiators. The fact that it also remains relatively quiet is another plus point. Whether it’s a hyperventilating RTX 3090 Ti or the high-volume bubble tank of a real water cooler, it also works without the LED halo. They have limited themselves to black and pure white, which is quite sufficient for almost all builds. And what’s not on it can’t be broken.
Conclusion
Of course, the lack of RGB components is noticeable in terms of price. And positively. The Corsair AF120 Elite and AF140 Elite are available from just under 24 Euros, only the AF140 in black currently costs just a single Euro more. This is still not cheap, but for such a beautifully bundled airflow, you can spend a thaler more. Otherwise, there are no abnormalities, which is actually good in this case. I can live with the purchase tip with a clear conscience, because the Pustefix also cuts a really good figure on my thick ship from Radiator. Just for that you get a kiss… 🙂
