Volume flow (throughput) in m³h
The black bar is the specification from the data sheet, which we check with at this point. Let’s first start with the value for m3 per hour, which is more common in Germany, and compare the individual installation variants from pure case fans to use on 60 mm radiators. You can see that the fan doesn’t quite reach the targets in the open setup and without radiators, but that can be tolerated. However, if radiators come into play, the beauty quickly comes to an end, especially at high speeds.
A slim radiator is certainly still tolerated to some extent, so at least the AiO water cooling systems equipped with this fan do not completely fail. But optimal really looks different. From about 30 mm, however, the whole thing becomes a tragedy in three acts. At 500 rpm on the 60 radiator, the hero dies lonely and forlorn, because no airflow is measurable at all. This is then also the first fan out of almost 40 tested that produces such a total failure and still costs the most. Above all, trust.
Volume flow (throughput) in cfm
The whole again in cfm. However, since only the unit of measurement changes, what has already been said for the airflow applies to the same extent.
