Optics and haptics
Freed from the protective packaging, we can now finally take a first look at the case. And since it is otherwise mentioned in the comments at the latest: Yes, the Revolt 3 definitely has something of a very large cheese grater.
The top is dominated by a large handle, which is lifted out by pressing on the case. It is slightly rounded at the edges to make carrying a fully loaded system more comfortable.
But that’s not all, a small rod can be pulled out on both sides at the top edge, which can be used to hang the headset, for example. Not exactly large, but sufficient for a normal sized hanger.
The front houses two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and an AUX combo port for microphones and sound output. Due to the special layout of the Revolt 3, there are no ports on the back, apart from the power connector.
From the outside, both sides are quite unspectacular. At the top, you can once again see the bars of the headset holder that are recessed into the case.
And another look at the bottom. Here we will later have access to the connectors of the mainboard and the graphics card.
The cables from the front I/O are also routed here through an opening inside the housing.
