Optics and haptics
Finally unpacked, the Q1L can be admired in all its (small) glory. I have here the variant in blue / gold, but there are also plainer colors to choose from.
The case is made of plastic and was assembled from several parts, but they cannot be taken apart easily. Two threads for the included mounting bracket, a sticker with the serial number, and four screws including integrated rubber feet are found on the bottom.
Despite the small size, you’ll find lush I/O on all sides, starting with three USB-A ports on the front. Two of them are USB 3.2 Gen1x1 and the third is only connected with USB 2.0 speed.
On the right side, there is a holder for a Kensington lock as well as several ventilation slots.
The opposite side has a micro SD card slot in the center, but it only supports a maximum of 128 gigabytes.
Depending on the selected model, the back is dominated by either dual Gigabit LAN or a Displayport port. The model with the option for another display is listed under the name Q1D. My Q1L here has only one HDMI port instead, but it supports 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz. According to the BIOS, this is an HDMI 2.0 port.
That completes the overview of the connectivity options. The next page will continue with the inner workings.
