With the MAG B660M Mortar WiFi, MSI places a somewhat more upscale version with a B660 chipset on the market for 239 euro (MSRP), whereby the naming fits into the military scheme between tomahawk and bazooka, but Mortar doesn’t just mean mortar, but more commonly plaster. And whether one wants to hint at the B660M as a solid foundation… Who knows? But anyway, names are smoke and mirrors. However, the price is definitely too high for a mid-range chipset.
The equipment is absolutely okay for a mid-range solution, even if two M.2 slots could be a bit tight. The entire overview is provided by MSI itself with this short data sheet, where everything important has been summarized.
