The performance Native vs. NIS vs. DLSS
On the fly, I took my familiar benchmark run from the article on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and measured three settings. First 1440p native, then DLSS quality + 50% sharpening and finally NIS 77% render scaling + 80% sharpening. I have set the graphics settings to the maximum – including DXR Ultra!
Performance goes to NIS, after all! But what was really surprising, you see now….
The Frame Time Over Benchmark Run, the variances and percentiles look much better compared to DLSS quality and of course you can feel that while playing! But you also have to consider the image quality. So let's take a good look at them now!
