Technical data and features
As always, we have the technical data in tabular form ready for you. Of course, I also want to talk about a few features that weren’t explicitly mentioned during the unboxing.
Sensor
The powerful PixArt-PMW3360 sensor resolves with up to 12,000 DPI and can be freely configured in steps of 100 from 100-12,000 via the SHARKOON software.
DPI switching and macros
The DPI button behind the scroll wheel allows you to comfortably switch through seven configurable values. For example, if you only need three different values instead of seven, you can simply deactivate the other values. If you don’t need the DPI switch, you can simply assign another function to the button – for example a macro.
Freely programmable keys
All six buttons of the LIGHT² 180 are completely freely programmable. While the forward and back buttons in a browser make navigation much more comfortable, the buttons in a shooter usually have no function. But if we create a profile for shooter games, we can use the back button as a sniper button or similar.
The left and right mouse buttons are equipped with durable Omron switches, which guarantee a particularly long service life with a minimum of 20 million clicks.
Stylish RGB lighting
Of course, the LIGHT² 180 is equipped with RGB lighting – there is no other way nowadays. I have outed myself as an RGB fan often enough and find the discreet illumination of the mouse quite successful. There is an illuminated bar at the bottom, along with the illuminated logo inside the mouse and the dimly lit mouse wheel.
And for the curious, we of course have the instructions ready again.
