SKILLER SGK60
The SGK60 comes in a slightly more compact box.
Otherwise the packaging principle is the same and also here the SAC14 box with the PBT keycaps is included.
The keycaps are not as rounded as those of the SGK3 and the font is also slightly more angular.
The keys of the SGK60 are also mounted on an aluminium plate.
The BOX Switches in detail.
The front of the base plate is diamond cut, adding a little accent to the otherwise all-black keyboard.
On the back is the USB-C port of the detachable cable and the so-called Edge Light, which provides a second lighting area. Unfortunately, this can be seen only in the rarest cases.
The rubber stoppers at the rear of the SGK60 prevent a good grip even when the feet are closed.
Here, too, the base of the feet is rubberized.
On the front, the rubber coating is applied across the entire width of the keyboard, Sharkoon obviously doesn’t do things by halves.
With a 300mA the SGK60 is even a bit more economical than the SGK3.
However, I measured a slightly higher current consumption with my USB multimeter here as well. Whether Sharkoon was a bit optimistic in the end or my device is simply inaccurate is actually of secondary importance, because no limit values are exceeded either way. A good 320 mA was displayed by the unit with the rainbow illumination fully turned up.
With permanent white illumination it was about 340 mA.
