Benchmarks
But what really arrives at the 3D Load in the individual applications? Again, I’m looking at the NVIDIA RTX A5000 as an example for now, since I’m still missing the appropriate water block for the A6000. However, we can see that the bars really speak for themselves, that is visible. However, the up to 300 MHz more clock rate is not quite the performance increase in reality. But you can still see the difference quite well, because up to around 10% and more almost always go.
Summary and conclusion
Yes, it was worth it and it would be more than a gimmick even just with the water cooling conversion. The clock speed gain alone from running cooler is a benefit you’ll be happy to take, and the cooler RAM will benefit as well. There will definitely be custom coolers for the RTX A5000 soon as well, so you can give the card a new suit completely painlessly and without any tinkering. If you have the chance, you should definitely take it, because it’s also worth it acoustically. Without radial fans, the office is suddenly an almost anechoic oasis of well-being, if the water cooling is any good.
