Blender
I use version 2.93 and the implementations for OpenCL (Radeon Pro) as well as CUDA and OptiX (NVIDIA). Radeon Pro Render could not be made to work despite many attempts for this current version. Unfortunately the installation failed. First of all I try the igoBOT and deliberately leave out all things like material and textures, so that you can better judge the quality of the denoiser.
The result is no surprise when comparing NVIDIA cards. The RTX A5000 wins clearly ahead of the Quadro RTX 6000. Denoising is slightly pixelated with OptiX and OpenCL if you look very closely, only CUDA or the CPU look really clean.
The second scene is not only more colorful, but also much more complex. Here, the Radeon Pro W6800 can hold its own against the Quadro RTX 5000 with OptiX, but all the other cards look bad against the RTX A5000. The image quality is also very similar. CUDA takes a bit longer, but subjectively looks a tad better. The old Radeon Pro W5700 is once again a total failure, for whatever reason.
Here, however, OptiX can now show itself more clearly and you have to look very closely to find pixel errors. The RTX A5000 still dominates the rest at will in CUDA, which is really impressive.
Luxrender
The RTX A5000 also dominates in the OpenCL-based Luxmark and leaves the Radeon Pro W6800 no chance.
