In QHD, the picture remains about the same, except that in a direct comparison, the RX 6600 XT loses significant performance on both PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 as the resolution increases. It’s a similar phenomenon to the performance drop of the big RDNA2 cards in Ultra HD, and I stand by my thesis that the Infinity cache may not be entirely innocent of it (hit rate). The other three games will be recorded on the next page, and as always, they will be added up at the end. And importantly, the loss on the much narrower bus is almost always much less!
Games that would benefit from SAM
Here applies up to Metro: SAM brings no more advantages at the PCIe 3.0. Otherwise, the same applies that I wrote on already for Full-HD, only the distances have become smaller.
