Power consumption and efficiency in QHD – 2560 x 1440 pixels
The higher performance of the card in Rage mode has its price, the normal Balanced mode is much more frugal.
The efficiency of the card is still ok, but you are a bit behind the reference card. It is interesting that the Rage mode hardly changes anything in terms of efficiency, but that the additional power used is also reflected in the performance.
Power consumption and efficiency in UHD – 3840 x 2160 pixels
In Ultra HD, the card is still behind the RTX 3080 FE and RTX 3090 FE, although it does lose some ground in performance.
In Ultra HD, the card is behind the GeForce RTX 3090 FE, also a realization.
But gaming alone is not everything and we also want to go into the other load scenarios, the voltages, the load peaks and the power supply recommendation in the following chapters.
