Performance in games
On average, the new Ryzen processors in our five-game test field are behind all Intel CPUs. There is simply not enough performance to take the place of the best gaming processor. Especially in Far Cry 5, a game that is very dependent on the collaboration of CPU and RAM, they fall short of my expectations. As an example, two titles from our test are listed here, the remaining measurements will be submitted shortly.

Total War
Since Total War's Battle's built-in benchmark relies heavily on multithreading, the Ryzen processors catch up and even outperform Intel CPUs. Only the 8700K at 5 GHz can offer them paroli.
