4 Power: H.265 encoding
With 12 threads clocked to 5 GHz, the Intel Core i7-8700K manages to achieve the performance of the 9700KF while encoding 4K. At 1080p, the gap is slightly higher. The Ryzen 7 3700X lags behind the 9900K, whose clock rates are higher. The AVX unit is also more efficient than the AMD processor. But the Ryzen 9 3900X, with its 12 cores and 24 threads, is also a real combat colossus.
