If you look at the individual results of the SPECviewperf in the most current version, then you can see, especially in direct comparison to the older Radeon Pro WX8200, that Navi in the Radeon Pro W5700 can cut a quite good and also competitive figure. With a few exceptions, at least the driver optimization for this standard benchmark has brought exactly what you can read on AMD’s homepage. Seen in this light, the whole thing is comprehensible and also resilient. However, it will be interesting to see how the Radeon Pro W5700 and the Quadro RTX 4000 from Nvidia will then perform in the real applications. In any case, the cheaper AMD card doesn’t have to hide here.
